Hey everyone, I thought I'd start doing this in an attempt to be more interactive on here. And what better place to start than with one of my favourite bands, and one that got me into this kind of music in the first place? [b]Black Tongue.[/b] Combining elements of Deathcore, Doom, Sludge, and more recently, Black Metal, UK heavyweights Black Tongue are for people who like their gutturals low and their breakdowns slow. Filthy, downtuned, chugging riffs and ear-shattering drums combine with wailing lead guitar melodies to create a feeling despair and the encroaching night that is seldom captured by bands of their ilk. I'm really looking forward to what comes next from these guys, and they have an album announced for some time this year.
