A world- a universe where good and evil seem to exist but no-one knows which side they're truly on, and in this universe is where I reside. The 'Guardian.' The hero of the Last City, that's what they call me anyway. It's a nice title to have don't misunderstand me, has some good benefits; but I don't feel like a hero, not one bit. When Linx found me, when he brought me back for the first time. I wasn't a hero then so why should I be one now. I was brought back, I was gifted this gift for one purpose, a purpose I'm yet to figure out. However, going back to the idea of me being some 'hero.' It seems to comfort them, the people of the city and even some lesser guardians. The idea of there being a grand hero, a legend like those of Saint-14 and Osiris who stands among them, ready to jump in to save the day at any moment. Despite not feeling like a hero, I play into their fantasies, it makes them feel at least a little bit safer. My helmets from the Dawning, to represent the Light in the city. The feathers represent the true weight of a well made decision. My chest and arms represent the tower and the hard working people inside alongside my grieves, a symbol for my fellow guardians. The black and red color scheme, I'll be honest I just like how it looks. It doesn't actually mean anything. The grey however, even though I don't tell people about it, it represents my duality. The duality I have between what the people think I am compared to what I really am. Maybe one day I won't need the grey anymore but for now.? It's there to stay. They call me Guardian. I call myself Node. Don't misunderstand, we are not the same person. When you want to address the legend, the myth the people have created, call me Guardian. If you want the real me, the flawed Titan who regrets and makes mistakes, call me Node.
