Cross-save was allowing you to access the data from your active account, PSN in your case, across all of your linked platforms. The data does not transfer to the other accounts, and it will always be permanently tied to your PSN account. It does not matter if you no longer play the game on PS4/PS5, but as your game data is bound to that PSN account, cross-save needed to remain active in order to access the data via Steam. When you deactivated cross-save, you severed that link, and your PSN data went back to only being accessible through PS consoles. Your Steam account was only borrowing the save data, so now it has no data of its own to be used. The 90 day lockout for having deactivated cross-save, is detailed in the FAQ on the main page for cross-save, as well as warnings given during both the activation and deactivation processes. Now that you have chosen to deactivate, you will simply have to wait out that timer.
