I recently played 40 or more rounds of Nightmare Containment and only got 2 Ascendant Alloys. Really, Bungo? You have numerous ways to get the comparable Ascendant Shard currency in the game: Nightfalls, Trials, Vendor ranks - you can even purchase multiple Ascendant Shards at the Cryptarch, and getting the required resources isn't that hard. But you can only buy a single Ascendant Alloy per week, and it costs a whopping 400 legendary shards. The one you can get from Banshee for ranking up is negligible, you have to play real hard to get one per week (meaning a full rank up at Banshee per week). Apart from that, you have to rely on replaying the same boring as hell activities with bad to negligible drop changes over and over to get an Ascendant Alloy. This is just plain ret*rded.
