Marmot error not going away

I've been having this problem for just shy of two weeks; Destiny is stuck on loading before it can even display main menu. When I Alt+F4 or close the game on my Taskbar it freezes and I need to then directly shut it down from task manager. Running Steam diagnostics doesnt say anything about game files verified or not and I cant play, the game wont even load far enough to display any actual error code- the only way I found the Marmot error was by brute-force loading BattlEye first, which goes as follows: Starting BattlEye Service... Updating... Launching game... Failed to launch game. Afterwards I receive another message saying: "Problem reading game content. File verification may be required. For more information, visit help.bungie.net and search for error code Marmot The instructions for this error code almost exclusively say "verify through Steam" which I have done countless times to no avail, and no alternative troubleshoot was provided by Steam support or the Error code guide. I set my firewall to passive, allowed Destiny and BattlEye to bypass the firewall, gone through %temp%, uninstalled, reinstalled, reset router, reset computer, cleared cache, closed any possible conflicting clients and ran chkdsk to make sure my ssd is okay, which it is. Nothing has worked and I'm feeling pretty hopeless with being turned down by tech support at Steam empty handed. I want to play the game and make use of the money and time and effort I put into it, but how can I if no one is actually helping me get past this immovable object of a problem? I really need some help here, bad
