This is more of a rant, but man am I really sick, tired and annoyed at how we Titans always seem to get the short end of the stick here
Prismatic Titan only has 1 damn viable build, and that is the consecration spam one with Synthos; oh yeah, Synthos, the only viable exotic for Titans ever since Year 1, that has been nerfed 3 times already because "it's too powerful" when Bungie has refused to buff the other 95% of the lame exotics that oh, most of them also revolve around a melee gimmick... oh right! The melees, most Titan melees require you to either run, jump, charge or go through a 3rd person animation (frenzied blade, shiver strike), and most of the melees are straight up trash and very risky to pull off at true endgame content (GMs, Master Raids), why don't we have a simple normal melee lik we used to have with Defensive Strike, Mortar Blast, Frontal Assault? Or a ranged melee that actually does something, not that lame excuse that is throwing shield
Also, the Supers... man, why are all Supers roaming but with different color? All Titan supers are literally the same besides Ward of Dawn and Tcrash (Tcrash has been powercrept so hard btw); Sentinel Shield is trash, FoH are trash, hammers are trash without Sol Invictus, Burning Maul is trash without Pyrogales, Glacial Quake is good, but still a damn roaming super, Blade fury good, but it's still a roaming super — Twilight Arsenal while fun, does nothing to push Titans to the role they should really be playing which is to be a tank of sorts
Titans need more tank and support supers, enough of the roaming ones, or at least give us an actual burst super like GG or Nova Bomb
Cut it with this weird stigma of "oh me Titan me punch", enough of that, it's a boring old joke that has sadly crawled its way into how Bungie develops the whole class
Also, why tf does flashbang, supressor and the prismatic nade have an insanely long bounce??? It used to be way smaller, now that shii bounces like 15 meters away from where you threw it, please revert it
Edit: didn't mention at how Titans are by far the worst class at dmg rotations, we don't have anything to reload our weapons like Rain of Fire, Dance machines, Withering Blade with Impetus, etc — why do you think Titans were the least used class on SE's day 1?
The only thing we still have going for us us Banner of War, which was nerfed (rightfully so, that thing I agree was busted) but just watch at how Bungie nerfs it an Synthos again because that's all we use at endgame. It's not because Synthos are broken, it's because all other Exotics are trash or super gimmicky.

I agree. Although punching is a core Titan principle, it would be nice to have an actual class identify with genuine utility that isn’t tied to one ability. And, would it be too much to ask for a long-ranged burst super?

My main issue with titans and their melee builds. Is that i feel like they put more and more explosive ennemies that you obviously dont want to melee x) (Onslaught was a nightmare for titans) Or ennemies that will just dont care about melees (subjugators / tormentors) Or flying ennemies...

No one complained when Syntho/Strand was soloing everything and unkillable for seasons.. Titan tears 🤣
-
I'm always quite amused at how in crucible i routinely lose to other class melees that seem faster, more range.

For the record With the new chest piece and easily one of the coolest exotics in game two tail fox (three tail) Titans can fire up to 27 rockets straight without reloading. If that’s not game breaking I dunno what is. https://youtu.be/npnywiE7-gw?si=LsmUfEE4flKsN7lT

I still main Titan. I can get a bunch of kills to get Exodus Rockets. I can nuke a room of ads or destroy a miniboss with Consecration. For bosses I can thruster my volley rockets and follow up with a 30% Buffed Dragonsbreath shot. If a buddy needs help I can rush over and burn my nade into a portable shield for a few seconds that afterwards provides Void Overshield for 6-8 seconds. You have lots of viability and builds at your disposal, experiment away til you find what works for you, ideally.

Yeah titans on prismatic feel lacking big time. Let's hope they can fix some of these issues. Two best things are the thunderclap, consecration.. They are slow sluggish charged melees. Would love to see some tweaks and maybe a few buffs for Titan.

iOaweにより編集済み: 6/17/2024 11:44:33 AMEither I’m missing something or my build for my titan is just great. I’ve never had a problem with hammers or sentinel shield or even thunder crash regarding damage. Honestly the only problem I had was the bubble. I don’t see how it deals increase damage. Also, melee for me kills many enemies if mean fireteam members don’t steal my kills before I do the melee.

SirBagsAlot-_-により編集済み: 6/17/2024 2:42:01 PMTitan and hunter need a built in devour aspect or survival tool that is equitable to Warlocks Rift for PvE content. Barrier is fine and all but it lacks in stable recovery moments and takes multiple steps to get the same survival that rift gives warlocks when hiding behind cover. 1. Titans need banner of war on prismatic, or devour added to the existing aspects. Hunters dodge and invis can be clutch but its not the same as being survivable and killing at the same time. 2. Hunters They need built in restoration/cure on prismatic dodge via an aspect and they'll be good

Really hard to play Titan with how many options we have that aren't melee focused. I'm that Titan who will run around with MotQO due to enjoying the risk to it. Prismatic amplified that but...Feels like there's just set builds for Titans while the other two get a range of options. Don't even get me started on Behemoth either. That subclass overall is the worst we've got. Glacial Quake has great damage potential but being another roaming melee super on top of being inconsistent with shattering makes it annoying to use. Not to mention Stasis on Titan not feeling good at all. Not even sure what it is meant to be doing.

Sir Lancelot Von Esquire.により編集済み: 6/17/2024 8:58:39 AMI agree with you on all but one thing sentinel shield is not trash It is in fact one of titans good supers my reasons for disagreeing on this is sentinel shield is one of the only things that strait up deny damage being done to your team and has the generate the most orbs out of any super in the game and give one of the highest damage buffs in the game. it alternatively can become one of the best roaming supers in the game for add clear also void titan is one of the most consistently viable classes in the game a few more buffs to bubble and twilight arsenal and it will be one of the best titan subclasses in the game.

Titans are tanks so that's kind of how they work, they are supposed to be "close range" while hunters (dps) are more long range and warlocks (heal/dps) are more of a mid to long range. Sure it's possible to change it up and do as you want, but you won't be able to fully utilize the class when you don't play on its strengths.

Ngl I was doing the campaign on my titan and frustrated how much of a drag it is. Couldn’t think of a single viable build to breeze through Legend Campaign other than precious scars. Enjoy consecrating subjugators on Legend; they will simply 2 shot your -blam!-. The new rocket exotic chest will probably be good once I obtain it but man did it feel disappointing. I wanted to main swords as I love dark souls but it is disappointing to say the least that banner of war isn’t a prismatic aspect. Just a slog to play them and the new axe throw super is cool but I want to decide when to throw my 3 axes not have them auto throw all 3 at once. Booooooring.

Strand was the best on Titan by far. Banner of war has dominated for more than a year. Meanwhile Warlock was boring and weak AF. For years. The only boost it got was spamming solar grenades that just blinds you to everything going on. The new Titan exotic is excellent for rocket assisted sidearms, rockets, and free damage. Warlock has in my opinion seen a good boost to build diversity with TFS but it was about damn time. Peacekeepers reloads SMGs. Rain of Fire, only works on Solar subclass and you need to run Icarus Dash with it. However personally I'm not fond of the Class specific weapon boosts which limit the other classes too much eg Lucky Pants alone making handcannons viable, Still Hunt being massively better on Hunter, etc. Could Titan use a little more help, yes, absolutely I agree. But having suffered as a Warlock main for months on end whilst my Titan could nuke bosses, I kinda think wait in line and accept the swings, roundabouts and cycles. -
I've been a titan main forever and like the idea of being a titan but....warlocks can have 4 turret at once
