hoverboards getting on/getting off is too slow
i specifically mean when getting off the board. also, please let us get off the board WHENEVER we want. riding, grinding, tricks. u can do that with a sparrow. why not the board?

1 返信i dont have much of an issue with getting on, its the getting off part which is rubbish Sometimes you just want to get off and it just wont do it and you end grinding towards the other end of the map

1 返信Hope this is something they fix because it feels so gross especially since sparrows already do it well. Still not enough of an issue to make me take them off though.

1 返信I feel like I’m totally glued to mine, like my board just won’t let me off. Then it takes me down into an abyss along with it.

1 返信You can only jump off if the board is touching the ground for a short period. I assume it was to prevent some out of bounds or glitching. Definitely a bit heavy handed tho

agree with you on this > I get on the board lookin like a pro.. tricks.. grinding across chasm so large (insert yo momma joke) .. lookin like surf god.. getting to the ground is not graceful as the actually cool movement of Destiny2 should allow.

The worst part is when that lockout timer prevents you from getting off the board as you're plummeting to the ground, since unlike the Sparrow, you'll take enough damage to die outright if the instantly-exploding board doesn't finish you off itself. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be intentional or not. It really seems like the board is much more flimsy than the Sparrow with regards to the amount of damage it can absorb. It almost feels like how Sparrows not named Always on Time felt before they got buffed.
