Seeing that there has been no mention of any platform specific patch and Bungie has been adamant that there would be no preferential treatment of either console platform, and their dev teams have been ravaged by layoffs, I would not hold my breath to see any large scale updates that did not increase revenue.

Realistically, I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. Bungie (leadership) will be more focused on getting next year sorted than worrying about a mid-gen console refresh patch.
