Why are the Brits so obsessed with what Americans do?
So why are you? I see so much talk about our "problems" coming from you Brits why do you concern yourself so much with what we do? I do not care at all what Brits do. Even your news papers have topics about us Americans.

I would assume it has something to do with Brits still having that old colonial attitude towards us, even though we revolted and won well over two hundred years ago. Aside from that, maybe they're just bored? Nothing really happens in England. It just rains.

Folks in the UK are all cool with Aussies, Kiwis and Canadians, right? Other than acting a little embarrassed, they hardly ever even get wound up over South Africa. But some news story in the US? And we're the "stupid yanks that should just be more like we are and all of your problems would be solved". Get rid of the NFL and combine its fanbase with that of NASCAR and somehow (I don't know how, more blood maybe) get them to watch soccer.... and we will all be cool and all. I am sure of it. Oh yeah, and double the alcohol in US beer too. That'd do it.
