Hey guys, I'm happy to say that my clanmates and I finally beat the raid after being lost in the dark corners of time for what seemed like forever. We had our easy parts to the raid, and our hard parts. What were some of the most frustrating difficulties you all came across?

I would just like to thank everyone for their comments and suggestions and tips. My clan was able to beat the vault of glass with your help. You were the the seventh member of our fire team. Thank you

I don't know about the hardest part of the raid. But my favorite part is watching some titan or someone who's bad at jumping do the floating pillers death after death. Even better if they have a mic. Hearing them try to keep the rage inside their lips as you can hear their teeth grinding over the com.

I actually really enjoyed the raid. The medusa were probably my least favorite portion. Honestly though the most disappointing thing for me was the loot. Every boss and every chest, again and again, ascendent mats. I didn't get a single piece of armor or weaponry, as my team gets Patience and Time, Ice Breaker, Last Word, Hard Light, set gear... ascendant energy...

getting a raid is the hardest part, since i think the social part of the game is crap.

mtwiggzにより編集済み: 9/30/2014 6:58:03 AMSimply getting people to follow instructions. I completed it with a group of friends which wasn't too bad, despite us all being egotistical bastards. I've walked 3 random PUGs through the raid now as well. The simplicity of following instructions is difficult for people, or perhaps their lack of skill in doing certain tasks. TL;DR - communication. Edit: Also the terrible glitches. Those were terrible. Terrible.

Sir Hurtalotにより編集済み: 9/29/2014 10:08:58 PMThe group I was with had great success when the 3 people outside the portals split up a bit. Have 1 at each portal killin supplicants and the third transferring back and forth to whoever needs help. Made keeping supplicants under control much easier so we could just spam atheon with bullets and supers without having to worry much about the adds Also standing on top of the pillars that open the portals is a good way of surviving the supplicants. Not 100% of the time, but pretty close

The last boss. I have now gone in with two different raid teams and have yet to clear the last boss!!! curse my luck. I know i'll get it eventually. i just seems like every time we are at a clutch moment either someone will have their connection drop, or someone will forget what they are supposed to do. We'll get it down one of these days. P.S. any one that has any tips for the last boss. I'm always willing to try something new. Lord knows I haven't beaten it so any advise would help

When I did the VoG we frequently had someone get stuck in the time portal for no reason and have to quit because the mission would not end or progress even if he dropped the relic. And Atheon would sometimes only teleport two people, again for no reason. And sometimes, for no reason, coming out of the portal would put someone right under Atheon and bring their swift demise, in such a place that we could not revive them and we usually fell apart shortly after.

The huge disappointment when I did not receive a single weapon, armor, or even ship drop. Just got stupid ascendant shards or energy that I have no use for. Pointless, along w/ the mono drops from the queens wrath (always hunter helmet or titan chest plate).

finding people to do it with....and somehow the gorgon part always is a wipefest because somebody bumps into one....hard modes atheon is sort of a challenge...other than that this is about the easiest "raid" i have ever ever encountered in an "mmo" -§mort§-™

First time through, the most difficult part was the gatekeepers before Atheon, just getting everyone where they needed and when. after about an hour someone quit, we replaced him, finished the gatekeepers, now the issue was trying to physically dish out enough damage to kill Atheon before he enrages. we had to get creative. After about three hours we finally got our strategy and we worked it like clockwork and killed Atheon with a perfect kill essentially. (nobody died). The second time through, the hardest part was getting the vault to open. We all had our strategies in place and we didn't get wiped more than 2 times per fight. Everything worked like clockwork.

I think on my main raid the hardest enemy was communication. It seems my main raid likes to talk... a lot...and so when necessary stuff was trying to be said, it was sometimes drowned out. Aside from that, it was just learning the fights as most of the team hadn't even watched any of the raid, so we had to learn where the oracles spawned (front left was the one I was missing for awhile). Also the maze, oh the maze...
