Everybody who actually pays attention to things said by faction leaders during patrol mission requests probably has thought of such an idea at some point. They are obviously trying to outsmart each other, telling you to collect things and "keep it quiet", or "do not tell anyone else" and stuff. Why not tie this to an event, where a war between factions brake out and every guardian has to choose one side and the matchmaking will be made according to these, so a guardian following FWC will not be put against another FWC guardian. Teams consisting of guardians of the same faction and all three factions would be present in the game, so it will be like a rumble game for teams.
3FWC vs 3 DO vs 3 NM
Guardians who participate will get bonus rep for their faction.
What do you guys think? I think it's a good way to add some color to the game, without relying on Iron Banner too much.
What if they had like big faction wars in the cosmodrome , with constant enemy AI drops but make it like a community challenges whichever 2 factions makes the most reputation would get to fight it offand have like a big battlefield kind off warfare going on and they could use the whole cosmodrome or just wherever patrols are held also include like a domination thing where the factions get to set up bases and you can take them over for strategic advantages and also put in space warfare to delay enemy drops , that way the destiny community becomes more active then it already is
