The most recent Bungie bounty, a hunt for the Dames of Destiny and our "beloved" community managers, has unveiled a seething hatred and disrespect in the community. The Dames as we know them, are a all female clan who participated in the Bungie event; and how the forums were set ablaze. Threats including but not limited to: -blam!-, beating, and death were posted, for a such a pointless event, and I think I know why.
I'm not a bigot
I understand why these comments and threats were issued, but I do not condone them.
I speak my mind
If there was a clan that only allowed membership to men, would it get any communal focus? Probably not, but a clan of all gay men might!
Do any of you see an issue there? I'll say it again, just to be clear. I am not a bigot, I am simply a realist. We try so hard not to discriminate, yet that passion turns into favor. In our path to acceptance, we've somehow alienated these groups of people, giving them social liberties that others don't have. So is this truly equality? I'll let the community answer that one.
We are only human
Edit: Hatred in anyway should be punished accordingly.

작성자: SwankyButters 8/5/2015 7:59:06 AMMen have had it good for a long while. Still do actually. You yourself might not have it great, I surely don't have any great power over anything but when you look around, you see men still have the upper hand in most things, it's the way things are. Things like featuring Dames of Destiny is a counter balance to level over male centered things. Think of it. How many of the Bungie Bounty things, Bungie Ride Alongs, or when they showed us new content, how many of those had women players in it? I've not seen them all but the few I've see have been all male. Same like our gay friend down here in the post below "PurpleEndymion" also an under represented group in these forums and gaming in general. Sometimes you have to feature those who don't get enough exposure. In many ways, I'm on the side of the underdog... So it's just the way I see things. However, it's a generalization and we all know the world is more complex than that.

I'm a gay male and all I have to say about this subject is; If you -blam!- me off, you're a -blam!-, I know I'm a -blam!-. Luke Smith is a -blam!-ING MASSIVE -blam!-ING -blam!-. If you're a desticle and blindly support this game, you're as big of a -blam!- as Luke Smith. I have a right to say "-blam!-", as I am gay and don't take any offense to it, much as black people call each other "-blam!-". -blam!- I even call my friends -blam!- cause we know we're only -blam!-ing around. I suck dick regularly and have a boyfriend who also plays Destiny. I don't care about this shit about the Dames. -blam!- white knights need to stop jumping to their defence because of their gender. JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE A -blam!-ING SET OF FLAPS DOES NOT MEAN THEY'RE DEFENCELESS -blam!- I KNOW A FEW WOMEN THAT'D LYNCH YOU FOR JUST CALLING THEM A BITCH. LET THEM DEFEND THEMSELVES AND STOP PUTTING THEM ON A PEDESTAL.

Your push for social justice is only incriminating those who dont do that shit. Take it up with trolls and gtfo of this forum. I would to discuss destiny related topics in this board. Not bash the community for the actions of trolls and attention seekers

Well said but, even if it was the case either way with only men or only girls in a clan, harassment is harassment and people should have their accounts banned.
