Another vote for Serana She was the only companion in Skyrim I enjoyed travelling with... Other than Cicero, of course. But he gets annoying after awhile I hate having a follower in Fallout 4 though. I like not to be seen. They are not master of how not to be seen. And dogmeat is ALWAYS IN MY WAY! Except when I'm overencombered, then he's 3 blocks ahead of me and still running.

This guy "Okay, boss. I'll just wait here, alone, while my heavily armed companion goes out of earshot. I'm sure nothing will happen." "I left everything when I left Mexico: my home, my family, my name - even my face. I know it's surprising, boss, but I wasn't always this handsome." "I can't believe I'm about to do this, boss. If I buy it out there, I want twelve mariachi bands playing at my funeral. A medal might be nice, too." "Sure, I'll stop using my rather effective gun and switch to, ah, this piece of metal tubing here. Great plan, boss." My favourite mod companion is from Fallout 3. There is a mod called "Ties That Bind" that puts your sister in the game. She's with you from start to finish and it's amazingly well done. Really adds a bit more depth to the game. Favourite base game companion is Rose of Sharon Cassidy.

Lydia is the #1 worst follower. >She's always depressed >Dies by anything and everything >Sits and eats all my food in my Whiterun house My favorite follower is Dogmeat from Fallout 3. Serana is my favorite Skyrim follower, mainly because she doesn't die and is good in combat situations.

Serana. Best Skyrim follower that actually has a damn good background story, flushed out, and besides, having her along with your adventures for a whole quest line makes you warm up to her whether you like it or not in at least one way.
