Okay look I'm not a pvp god or anything. Hella average. BUT I have games (usually in a row) where I have like 25 kills and 4 deaths. Every shot is on point. Snipes? Pssshhh hitting like a shotgun main claims snipers hit. All I can think is hot diggty damn I'm -blam!-ing killing this game. Then for about 10 games in a row i may scrape by with a crispy .10 KD. Trials? Trials? Shoot I'll smack people with 2200 Elos and then lose to people with 1400 Elos.. Blows my mind how inconsistent I am and it's absolutely nerve racking. Lol. Any one else feel my pain?

I'm the same,my of is like 1.0 and my cell is like 1,400 but I go flawless every week at least on one character. Since I don't have so much time for trails I feel like I barely even try anymore. At 50 flawless runs though !

I'm 100% convinced bungie alters it intentionally. They'll give less skilled players "look ahead" advantages.. Basically puts them a little ahead of your game.. that's why you'll die in what seems like 1 or 2 shots.. Ever get into a gun fight with someone and land nothing but headshots.. but you die and they walk away with some shields left? That's bungie nerfing you to keep you at a 1:1 KD and 1:1 win loss.
-
thats because if you win like 5 matches in a row, bungie will match you will people that piss in buckets and have a feeding tube with an IV of redbull in their veins.

You probably use your primary too much Main a shotgun or a sniper and you'll do better consistently

It happens man if you don't play often. Smashed some 2kd guys in trials. 2 games later. Wrecked by a team of .6s hahaha

At least you can raise your KD. Im at 55k kills and like 33k deaths. Ill forever be at a 1.5. Id have to get like 7k kills with no deaths you get a 2 KD.

That's how you learn though. I have become more consistent in how I play in 3 ways. 1 record every bad and good game you have, compare them and what you did right, maps, load out, sub class, anything that you can teach yourself will make you more consistent. 2 don't check the enemies stats. By doing this you set yourself up for an entirely different game play. You match a 3.0 2500 you're going to sweat balls, you match a .5 1100, you'll think it's a joke and rush and maybe lose. Keep the mindset of everyone being top tier. 3 know you're not the best, play people better than you in sweats and tournies. The more practice the more consistent you will be

Likely on those good games you are the game Host and then the axiom: "He/She who Lags Most or is Host is the Crucible King/Queen" kicks in. BungiVision (Bungie Activision) is one of the few remaining Triple A Titles that is to cheap (or incompetent) to have Regional Dedicated Host Servers, and so one Console is picked as Host and then that console controls the game. That's why we have cheats, IP Exploits, Lag Switching, Host Advantage and all manner of crap happening. Unless BungiVision has Regional Dedicated Host servers in Destiny 2.0, I will not be buying it.

Depends. Just recently came back to Destiny and usually don't play crucible. If I hit a map I've never seen, I'm screwed. If up against a fireteam, I'm screwed. If trying out new weapons, I'm screwed. Or sometimes, I'm just screwed for no reason. -

I ran my striker the week before last all weekend for trials. Same build and same guns. I found out pretty quick that there were certain builds and classes I would lose to more often then I would win against. Took down a 2400 ELO team carrying, but lost to a team with the same ELO as the guy the others were carrying. I'm starting to think my inconsistency is that I'm not changing my class build to react to others.
