I used to play destiny way back in year 1, I played up until DLC 2 (House of wolves). I had 3 level max level characters, all with every exotic maxed out. But I returned after playing the destiny 2 beta. I am still level 34 and I have read that I can't get beyond level 34 without buying any newer DLCs. I am fine with not being able to level up, but every piece of gear I get seems to be level 40 in order to equip it. I am sitting on 169 light on my hunter and I would like to try and get that higher if possible without buying any other DLCSs. In other words, how do I get more light without buying the taken king, rise of iron etc. Thank you 😊
