So if you’re under 10 light, you take 10% MORE damage and deal 10% LESS!? Bullshit.
Why can it be one or the other?
Combining with the broken, overpowered Luna’s Howl and god roll weapons, every encounter is a nightmare. 2 shot even with the most garbage weapons, level advantages should -blam!-ing get a rework. It was never this bad in D1 Iron Banner. You could be 30 light below the next guy, and deal 10% less damage, but take the same damage as everyone else, no matter the light level you were sitting at. The only massive noticeable difference was if you were 50+ light below, you’d take more damage, and deal even less.
It’s just not the same anymore and it’s ridiculous. Something needs to change Bungie.
The reason it was never bad in D1 was because getting levels was easy, remember how easy it was to get to 34? Or above 300 power, or to even get to 400? You didn’t have to do much to hit those marks. This game to be powerful you have to dedicate yourself to the grind, and there has to be some end game activity that rewards those who did grind and since trials isn’t here this season, banner is the perfect place for it, plus banner is an end game PvP activity it should have had power level advantages enabled from the beginning of D2 imo.
