Since it’s clear that white nail will be obsolete soon, how about a compromise:
How about an ever increasing damage modifier based on consecutive critical shots landed that resets each time you miss but increases until you run out of ammo?
That would at least give the trait some uniqueness that wouldn’t completely hamstring the weapon and make it useless compared to 1k or Thunderlord or Wardcliff or whatever.
Thoughts?
The scaling for the damage might get insane in unintended ways. Game has a history of unintended buff applications like the recent combination blow Arcstrider super stack.
