It's probably been talked to death at this point, but I still want to say this:
I feel like the Infinite Forest, right now as it stands, is a missed opportunity. Hell, Mercury as a whole just feels quickly slabbed together with Elmer's glue and Toothpicks.
Why not make it a raid? Or an arena? It'd be simple: Program a few land spaces I'll call "chunks", program encounters, and have them all procedurally generated. For the raid? Tack in puzzles, and make the enemies all the harder.
When it first launched all saw tons of opportunity here, and was depressed when I found out you can't even revisit the place aside from a few side missions.
Sorry to bring up an old wound, but it still is... Pretty terrible. Especially with the love certain systems are getting as of late.
Just had to vent something now that I've actually been involved more on the forums. What do y'all think? Update it? How so? Or just leave it be?
Well the Infinite Forest has Infinite potential. It can make literally anything so it's never going to be fully utilized. I wouldn't mind a good procedurally generated arena but apparently that's just for holidays.😒
