I was watching the interview between Dr Lupo and Luke Smith and Luke talked about how they’re gonna vault a bunch of stuff and then cycle them in and out of the game each year.
I think I can speak for most people in saying that taking the Leviathan, or some other content that’s gonna be removed, away for a year is just gonna suck and it’s always nice to play the Leviathan raid once a while.
I’m a fan of bringing back the old D1 raids and hope that King’s Fall and Wrath of the Machine can also be brought back as those were full of so many memories and I personally loved the armor design for Wrath of the Machine, was one of the main reasons I played it so much.
So I think the player base would appreciate it if you cycled old and new content on a cycle. So what I mean is let’s say you take out Leviathan Raid and put in Vault of Glass and King’s Fall. Then next weekly reset you can take out Vault of Glass and put Leviathan back in. Then the next weekly reset will bring in Vault of Glass and take out King’s Fall. So basically constantly cycle content from the Destiny Content Vault each week.
There are several advantages to cycling DCV each week:
-It would keep players returning to Destiny every week to do a different raid or activity
-You could cycle out more content so that it’s easier to manage the game but doesn’t limit the content available to players each week
-Players would not be as mad as they are now because their desired activity would return every other week so it’s not gone for a year which would cause many players to lose interest
After watching the reveal today I got so excited for what the future holds. I haven’t been that excited since I completed King’s Fall. There is enormous potential for Destiny not only to develop the story of the darkness but also become one of the greatest games of all time.
If you read it this far I want to say thank you for reading and listening to my opinion and I hope you have a great day
