SMGs were introduced specifically for close range. To replace the high rof w/ low impact autos from D1, like my Arminius-D. Smgs are short range and should stay short range. Hybrids make balancing even harder. I think seasonal rotating metas is the best we can hope for. Mainly since we would all know when they would change, so people who don’t like it can plan around it. Also we wouldn’t have to rely on Bungie to realize there is an issue and then wait who knows how long while they fumble around for a fix.
