I'll try to make it clear and fast, I use a name in game that attract hate from other players, it's similar to "Lily They/Them ACAB BLM".
Long story short, I had this name on steam for a short period of time to have fun on Apex Legends with friends and when I made my destiny account I just clicked "next, next, next... Thinking I could rename later, and well, we can't yet.
For that I got massively reported, enough times, twice, to get banned 2weeks then 2 f***ing months from all PvP activities for as reason "consistently unstable internet".
Yes, my internet is bad, and that's why I avoid 6v6 PvP stuff to focus only 3v3 ones, and there I experience no lags AT ALL, my 2 months ban is unjustified. Plus it's not my fault if the netcode uses way too much bandwidth than it should.
How the hell, can I remove it. Two months is way too long for a player like me that bought all DLC's and started playing only 1.5 months ago, lmao.
PS: ofc I'd like a rename to avoid this situation again.

1. It takes more than reports.. Reports just flag your account for investigation by Bungie staff and from what you said you have has THREE investigations which all found reason fir Bungie to take action. 2. You admit to poor Internet so while you say "I stay away from 6v6" (even with some IB matches this month under your belt) does not mean you are not ruining matches for others. 3. If you have not heard anything after a week then Bungie staff have reviewed your appeal and upheld their decision to restrict you from pvp activities. So either.. Stay completely away from all pvp Or. Fix your Internet. Those are your options. Just be glad that Bungie has changed their policy over restrictions as next time Bungie needs to step in again it will only be another 2 month restriction not the old permanent pvp restriction.

Are you hardwired or using WiFi? If you are using WiFi. Do everyone and yourself a favor. Don't. What are your tested network stats? Up AND down speeds? Ping? Latency and jitter? You say you avoid 6v6 pvp because of your bad connection, but you sure did play a lot of Iron Banner last week when it was around….as well as other 6v6 modes.

Name change will come at a later date, tentatively scheduled for this winter. Bungie will inform players about this, so pay attention to the weekly TWAB for more. For your restriction, if you've appealed already then there is nothing that can be done other than attempting to get a better ISP. This forum can not look into bans/restrictions nor help to appeal them.
