I've been taking advantage of double rank points and playing a lot of gambit this weekend in hopes of getting a decent trust to drop. After almost 2 rank resets I received a warning message after completing a match " This account has a consistently unstable Internet connection that is affecting other players".
If there's one thing I DON'T suffer from its a poor Internet connection, I've got well over 3000 hours in D2 and I've NEVER had connectivity issues before. I took a screenshot of the in game warning message aswel as a screenshot of a speedtest not long after the message appeared and it was at its normal speed.
I'm now worried I might get a ban / matchmaking restriction falsely placed on my account, is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again? My Internet download speed normally sits between the 50-80 mbps range and my upload normally sits between the 15-30 mbps range.
Hi there!
The message you received is simply notifying you that your connection may be unstable and can be adversely affecting the game for other players. If you are receiving this message, I highly recommend that you take a look at the Network Troubleshooting Guide for any tips on stabilizing your network connection.

Please note that speeds may not be the only factor to your connection. Factors such as packet loss, jitter, or NAT status can also negatively impact your connection and affect your connection to other players. This may also lead to you receiving this message.
