Are Bungie servers particularly bad recently for anyone else?

I've never, in all my years in Destiny, experienced lag this bad. Not even on Hotel wifi in 2019 was it this bad. Now here I am with actually decent wifi, and enemies are dying, coming back, teleporting all over the place, public event barriers that spawn in for public events are spawning on a delay, certain ability effects aren't proccing at all, or if they do, it's well after they should. I don't know what Bungie is trying to do behind the scenes, but to say they were being subtle would be an outright lie.

  • Server issues might be from crossplay. Actually, yesterday morning I was having connection issues whenever I was in a matchmade activity, so I turned crossplay off and (whenever I could get into a matchmade activity) I stopped having issues. I turned it back on later and it was fine, but most times with stuff like crucible, ps players have really terrible latency. The servers are in no shape to support cross platform connections, so they need to do something about them first.
