It's an epic fantasy novel I've been working on for the past seven years. I had to pay for online tuition, a professional editor, a formatter, and when I save up some more: marketing.
For now, I needs must try what marketing I can.

Hi, Offtopic.
I wrote a book.
I know the best of the Flood is gone, but hey... maybe some remnants of you are still around.
If so, hi.
I wrote a book.
Brief synopsis:
It's a self-aware narrative with two layers. One, is the surface plot, the story I'm trying to share about characters looking for a MacGuffin to stop a war from outbreaking. The second layer is the wiles of an unknown force trying to manipulate the story into their vision. In truth, the entire narrative is a love-letter to all fantasy enthusiasts alike.
If you want the official summary, you can find it in the linkies.
The novel has these dandy lil' footnotes as well which are there for those lore junkies who seek fortune in knowledge.
The paperback copy is available on Amazon.
The Amazon hardcover will be available shortly and it should be cheaper, but it's... being weird.
If you buy a hardcover from Barnes & Noble, it'll have better quality pages and a dust jacket with a lovely design underneath said dust jacket.
It's available in most online stores, I'm just too lazy to list all of 'em.
Once I break a certain number of sales, I'll be able to sell it in retail.
UHhHHHHh... questions?
No... there's no smut.
Awesome, dude! I hear people in OffTopic getting their books out the door, and I still can’t finish my novel’s last chapter. My plot is so complex it’s very difficult to wrap up—I mainly wrote it for myself, honestly, and maybe the most dedicated sci-fi fans. Anyone else would probably read it and go “eh?”.

Nice, congrats! Now we're book buddies. Having a character (or force?) in the book trying to make the book into what they want it to be sounds pretty nifty. I wish you the best of luck!
