I'm just curious how much the community thinks Iron Banner throws a curveball into the standard Crucible metagame. A few things first: I don't believe any particular class/subclass is OP nor is that the topic, and I'm well aware that the initial subclass rankings is a matter of opinion (and that it also depends somewhat on game type) and this will vary from person to person, perhaps significantly.
But in my personal opinion, on average the subclasses could be ranked in standard play as follows:
1. Bladedancer
2. Voidwalker
3. Gunslinger
4. Striker
5. Sunsinger
6. Defender
And honestly I feel like Sunsinger and defender could be almost interchangeable, but I have the nod to Sunsinger simply because of fusion grenades. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like they just lob them in my general direction and that's it, I'm dead. (I never claimed to be a fantastic player)
Here's what I'm curious about though. How much do you feel that Iron Banner changes this dynamic, regardless of how your personal rankings begin?
For example, I'll readily admit that my Titan gains a big boost in my view, simply because of the armor boost if nothing else.
So please, post your thoughts. Preferably more of the intelligent variety and less of the "ermagehrd hunterz rulz and titanz drulz trollololololol". Including your opinion of the initial hierarchy would be great.
