Here's a link to Robert Wuhl, in Assume the Position. He's amazing if you enjoy history. :-) Christopher Titus, Bill Cosby, Bill Engval and Jeff Dunham also comes to mind...there are easily a dozen more that I would recommend if you're looking for something fun to watch. :-)

Ari Shaffir. Thanks OP for the idea. I went searching and came across that guy. He just had a hour special on Comedy Central last night called Ari Shaffir's 'Paid Regular'. I'm watching now on demand through Fios as I type. He is pretty freaking funny. Most I laughed in a while from a stand up. I recommend it.
