Hail fellow Guardians! When you look at the Stats of all of the Iron Banner Weapons they are all very impressive weapons. They are weapons you generally want to put the time and effort to acquire. Silimar's Wrath currently, is not one of those weapons sadly...
The issue is that that Auto-Rifle Silimar's Wrath falls into the Low Impact/High Rate of Fire category of Auto-Rifles. These Auto-Rifles are not competitive weapons in the Crucible or really even in High-End PvE content. Which is the reason why people gravitated towards Auto-Rifles such as the Shadow Price, Grim Citizen III and Vanquisher VIII (Which are High Impact/Low Rate of Fire) .
With regards to the Iron Banner take note that most of the weapons fall into a Higher Impact/ Higher Range category, except the Auto Rifle and Pulse Rifle. Or in the case of the rocket launcher it has high Blast Radius/Velocity. The Iron Banner weapons are advertised to be hard hitting weapons.
***My suggestion is to simply change the Stats on the Silimar's Wrath to the same stats that the Grim Citizen III had. The Grim Citizen III's stats are suitable because it has the highest range stat in class. Which falls into the Iron Banner theme of High Range/Impact.
So that THE NEW STATS would be: Impact 28, Rate of Fire 77, Range 29, Reload 76, Stability 45 and Magazine 26.
These are it's current Stats: Impact 2, Rate of Fire 100, Range 14, Reload 83, Stability 36 and Magazine 66.
*These Stats are from the Destiny DB* http://www.destinydb.com/
**Not sure if these Stats are still current with Patch 1.1.1 BUT stats should be around the same, with possibly some variation to Impact and Range stats with the Nerfs.
PLEASE BUMP/UPVOTE(Like) this post and vote for change in the Poll. Let's try to make the Silimar's Wrath a more potent weapon that is actually worth farming all the glimmer to purchase. Even if your not an Auto-Rifle wielding guardian help out your fellow guardians who do enjoy them!

Edited by Bah Weep Grana: 3/2/2015 1:16:17 PMThe Silmars Wrath looks cool but its so bad. With two stability upgrades it still kicks like a horse, and its just not worth using because it does like 13 damage on headshots at most. You need to land almost 20 headshots to kill and that's insane. What I was thinking is they could do the High Impact low ROF like every other iron banner weapon.
