Use logic, feats, and stats.
Assume firepower and shields are equalized.
The First Order has StarKiller.
The Covenant have High Charity.
The galaxy's are merged. Covenant on one side, First Oder at the other.
Both at their peaks.

You come to my home? You bring your armies, and your warships, and you threaten my people? Well I have one question for you;
How can the first order win if the stormtroopers can't shoot a damn thing?
>StarKiller >Force Unleashed >...wait >op meant StarKiller Base >...cries...

Grunt Mech will wreck all
-
Stormtrooper accuracy<Jackal snipers on Legendary accuracy
-
Well Covenant: Ground Troops- Hunters(tough, without knowledge of weakness very hard to kill) Grunts(also they can repopulate like crazy) Those flying insects(annoying, repair ships) Elites(invisible, strong, energy swords) Brutes( huge, very tough, can smell targets) Jackals(very agile, good eyesight) Equipment: Wraiths Halo reach Revenants Ghost Choppers Shade turrets(plasma and heavier rounds) Banshees Seraphs Those U shaped ships Drops pods? Plasma grenades can stick Brute grenades can stick and throw spikes on explosion( I believe) Power ups: Bubble shield Invisibility Over shield? Hologram? Jet packs Idk about Star Wars. Feel free to add.

Covenant has halo
-
Gonna say Covies. I don't really know much about the 1st Order than what was in the movie.
-
The first order, starkiller base would just blow up high charity. And with the covenant now being decentralised and with the loss of the majority of their political leadership the reaming military factions would devolve to in fighting.
-
Gonna go with George Bush
-
Logic? Hmmm....ground combat, covenant but with space battles? Definately a star destroyer using Empire. And smaller ships as well. Seraphs and Banshee's ain't got nothing on TIE's. They're just too fast for any halo ship the covenant uses.

Edytowany przez użytkownika DarkTimeShifter: 7/7/2016 5:06:08 AMTechnically the first order would win because since they have star killer base that can destroy planets. The covenant don't really have anything to match that kind of firepower.
-
Covenant. The prophets are far more intelligent and persuasive than Kylo/Phasma/Hux. The First Order don't have anything that can easily take out hunters (excluding vehicles and Lightsabers) and the Covenants plasma weapons can create EMPs which would disable First Order tech and ships.
-
Comparing a barely developed universe Vs An incredibly developed and downright OP Faction of unkillable warriors Jeez
-
Sure, Starkiller Base can blow up planets from afar, but what's that next to the Halos? (And don't nitpick and say "b-but that's Forerunner" because we saw them take and nearly activate them several times. The Halos are essentially theirs.
-
Why no poll?
-
Why are firepower and shields equalised? Kind of makes their tech useless.
-
First Order. They have stormtroopers who can actually hit stuff, Starkiller Base is way more powerful than High Charity, Kylo Ren could simply crush Covenant forces like tin cans with their own suits of armor, and the First Order could destroy the halos with Starkiller even if the Covenant found them. These are all valid points. But lets face it, First Order wins because of one man, FN-2199, also known as.... TR-8R.
-
Covenant. Obviously.
WORT WORT WORT
-
The first order doesn't have a fleet the size of the covenant but Starkiller would be a problem. If the covenant rushes the First Order fast and take out Starkiller before it destroys high charity they would win

Edytowany przez użytkownika bhsnipes: 7/6/2016 5:57:29 AMNot sure about the numbers of the First Order, but the Covenant at their hight have thousands of ships. Able to pinpoint jump behind ships and obliterate them. Something tells me that dozens of Covenant ships flying around firing their Plasma Projectors at the ships doesn't sound good for the First Order. Or better yet, hundreds, if not thousands of ships glassing Star Killer base. Doesn't seem it'll work out for the First Order. A fight between the Empire would be more fair.

Covenant. I'm a hardcore star wars fan but there is no way the first order would even stand a chance. The first order is significantly smaller and less powerful than even the galactic empire. The covenant would of overwhelm just by force of numbers alone. Not mention the first orders inept leadership.
-
I am in favour of the covenant winning. Elites are honour driven, faster, stronger, and smarter than humans.
Also wort
-
I'm going with the Covenant on this one. We don't know the exact size of the first order, and judging by the small X-wing strike force that was able to destroy starkiller base, (with help from lowering the shields from the surface) I believe the covenant would be able to to take starkiller base within time. As for ground battles the Covenant would stomp due to the extensive array of infantry. The first order did have ground vehicles but we never saw them in action.
-
The covenant would wreck the first order. A small group of rebels could take out their main base, so I'm pretty sure a large well trained army could too
