Before you tell me that it was just bad connection, look up FallxnShadow on Xbox clips. When someone kills me in a clean, non choppy way and then goes to kill my teammate and teleports all over the place and then gets a clean connection again, that's a bit suspicious. Three times on a 6 win card, we get the lead and then one person on the team starts lagging, and then they get the lead and stop lagging, and repeat.
I'm getting tired of Trials of Osiris, a playlist to show your skill of the game, is always met by people who think it's to show off their skill of pissing people off by overflowing the instances.

6 games of iron banner the top player on the enemy team, they were green bar when i wasnt seeing them in the kill feed, but redbar when they were... very suspicious, reported for bad connection
if you go red bar you have bad connection simple
ToO isn't the only place lag-switchers like to go to. Iron Banner and even SRL are popular dwelling grounds for these low-lives. There will even be some in everyday crucible.
-
All us green and good. We're get onto Round 3. Going for heavy. We drop dead. The enemy team is suddenly red. Then we go red. Then it kicks my brother from the match. We managed to get the round and it was 4-1. Then 4-2. 4-3. 4-4. Everyone goes back to green. But we managed to pull a 2 on 3 win.

Welcome to ToO, and the best part? Theres ppl who actually enjoy that nonsense. Go figure. I went flawless once this weekend, and hated every minute of it, its just far too frustrating to waste my time with. If its not lag, its cheaters, ppl abusing garbage, or the map blows. Dissapointing, because there was a time I enjoyed trials. But now? The toxicity of the community and bungie's ineptitude had poisoned even that part of the game. Oh well.

As well as teams who have a person spam your team with invites hoping you will be dumb enough to accept. If you don't accept you are still getting harrassed and annoyed by the spam.
-
You see this throughout crucible unfortunately. Played an elimination match a while back where we were up 4 nothing. Miraculously one of the other players got a bad connection and wouldn't take damage. each time we would take out his teammates and he would wipe all three of us as we all shot him. The guy then had the gull to message me talking trash. I reported him but I am sure nothing happened. Until Bungie starts enforcing harsh penalties for cheaters it will continue. Until a few people start getting permanent bans then they have no reason to stop.

I've seen my fair share of lag switchers and ddosing. The flawless banner is a deception now. You never know if someone was cheated, got carried or did it legit. It's pretty sad.
-
Yeah, one game of ToO was enough to show me that it is too easy for unscrupulous people to mess with people's connections to ruin their flawless.

-blam!- em
-
You clearly don't know what a lag switch is, it's just lag and it happens pretty often because of SBMM
-
Making a lag switch as i type this :) See ya in trials !
-
Ran all weekend, didn't see a single one.. Maybe opt out of the McDonald's Dail-up you have lmao.
-
Is it just me who has never once ran into lag switchers in destiny?
-
More than likely nasty lag caused by long distance matchmaking. Although most lag is not intended, there are a handful of savage cheaters out there. It's been like that since Halo 2 when -blam!-tards used "Stand By" modems to lag switch.
-
I had it also but it was more funny then up-blam!- :D
-
Same here

People lagging in ToO, why am I not surprised
-
I'm tired of people that are better than me in trials.
-
Bungie will never pay to fix that issue. If you keep buying it anyway why should they? Besides with all the whiny streamers and paid players its the balance in a weird way. People in trials ruined a lot of other people fun in the game. Changes to classes based on trials effect everyone in all modes. That same "I wanna win not lose" attitude that makes people cry nerf also makes people want to cheat. I think its funny hahaha
-
Welcome to PvP. There's a reason I abso-f***in-lutely hate the emphasis on PvP in games these days. It ruined Battlefront. It ruined Overwatch. It will ruin many more games. Thankfully, Destiny can be enjoyed (almost entirely) without it. At least one thing Bungie did right.
