Again, thank you for the communication. However, as the rewards are still coming through Tess Avarice I probably won't be logging in....
Edit-ok yeah I'm an idiot. I guess I couldn't believe what i was reading. Correction accepted

The only things coming from Tess are bright dust purchases. The main thing is that the ENGRAMS are non-purchasable. And you can get Bright Dust from the Game play-Exclusive Engrams still. So no real paying your way through the event. And even if you splurged on Bright Engrams to get Dust, it can be in-efficient, acting as a deficit to the people who want to do that. And even if the event is small. 1. The original Crimson Days was small. 2. You can tell they restructured the event recently (When they last spoke about it they didn't even mention Eververse not really having a place in the event) 3. Bungie, overall is still in a major directional shift for D2, and things like that, while a game is online, costs a lot, time-wise and money wise. Also I am happy with this event's news, because it showcases a positive outlook for D2's future from what we know. If D2 can reach a game-play level akin to Y3 D1 in it's systems before Y2's launch, then Y2 may be able to revive the game essentially (unless if the Gods Of Mars Leaks are true which then, that alone could rejuvenate a fair number of players)
