As many of you know tomorrow is "420" so the Recreational drug users are going to be out in force. Talking about how miraculous their favourite addiction/crutch is.
However i am here to remind you they are pathetic people, and deserve to be looked down upon. To do anything else just encourages their unhealthy life style.
Some of you need to be reminded that what they are doing ingesting an illegal substance that diminishes their mental capacity and essentially turns them into large children both on and off their "high". As they become moody like children without it.
It's a very sad existence that they will go very hard to justify, and make seem cool. Almost all of them will tell you the same lies or half truths in it's defence.
They will say things like "Pot isn't at all addicting, it's been proven!" Which is a half truth bordering on being an out right lie, while pot isn't addicting in the same was as alcohol where you can die from withdrawal, it is in fact addicting more like gambling where you won't die, but can't quite help yourself.
Then there is also the outright lie, of it being safe to drive while high. This is 100 percent false, and a lie. Pot inhibits your judgement, and makes your reaction time slower. However i am sure someone will take issue with me saying this, as their propaganda has told them it is 100% safe .
Anyway everyone just remember not to encourage them in the use of their completely unnecessary crutch. They already know it's pathetic, that's why they demand outside approval so vigorously.
So in closing remember not to encourage them, and don't be cowed by their lies or half truths. You'll be doing them a favour.

Let's see: -Calls marijuana a crutch, despite it actually having been shown to help people in various situations, some people even needing it just to ease nausea to be able to eat. -Insults people for no reason because apparently everyone that smokes marijuana is a stoner. -Stating what happens only with long term, heavy use that specifically starts when the user begins using at young age. -Very few people think that 4/20 or smoking marijuana is cool these days. The only people that do think either are the immature or the young. -Rarely does anyone actually become addicted to the substance and again that is usually from heavy use or starting at a young age, even of those a good number become addicted to the feeling not the physical aspects of addiction. -As for the safe to drive or anything else there have been many cases of people using Marijuana and it calming them enough to drive safely, while this is a case to case basis, saying that it is and outright lie proves how little you know about it yourself. The only thing that is pathetic here is your D.A.R.E level post that comes off more cringy than insightful. Maybe get off your (no pun intended) high horse? PS: I don't like weed or ingest it in any way or form, but I don't see an issue with it other than misuse which can happen with anything.

Yeah............ you're a bigot. The real question is what is going on in your own life that makes you feel insecure enough to try to demonize a group of people like this?
-
Sounds like you need to get high.

If you look at the history of it, cannabis was made illegal to put industrial hemp under the same umbrella thus including it in prohibition. The propaganda used to convince the population called it "marijuana" when at the time in the US it was known as cannabis and hemp. If it weren't for that subterfuge the average citizen would have protested and demanded their congressmen to vote against making it illegal. Cannabis has been used medically for thousands of years. Hemp has many industrial uses. William Randolph Hearst lobbied (and bribed) to make it illegal because it made a less expensive, better quality paper than wood. Hearst was heavily invested in lumber. Chemical companies lobbied to make it illegal because hemp oil could be used to make biodegradable, safer plastics. There was an invention that made getting fiber from hemp cheaper and easier. Clothing from hemp was stronger, comfortable, it wicks away moisture and was inexpensive. Synthetic cloth was being developed at the time. Congress has recently questioned federal agencies about cannabis as it pertains to the Controlled Substances Act. For a substance to be schedule one it has to be deadly and have no medical uses. They concluded that there was "no empirical evidence" that cannabis should be a schedule one substance: https://youtu.be/v_1VcPt-8y8 Who lobbies to keep it illegal? • lumber companies • chemical companies • pharmaceutical corporations • privately owned prisons Alcohol prohibition was deemed to do more harm than good. It made criminals of otherwise law abiding citizens while making actual criminals more wealthy, powerful and dangerous. Cannabis does the same thing. Here is a video about how cannabis became illegal. It is from a longer documentary. https://youtu.be/0ebz9OuYLL0 My views on cannabis changed after I got cancer. I used it to alleviate the side effects of chemotherapy. There are compounds that not only alleviate nausea, it helps prevent bone loss among other side effects of chemotherapy. I've read a lot of articles and watched many videos of laboratory researchers who have been studying cannabis. THC was proven to kill cancer cells in a study done in 1974! In an interview 10 years later, one of the researchers said he was surprised it was still illegal and that the study was kept secret from the public. No one should drink and drive. No one should get high and drive. No one under the influence of prescription or over the counter drugs should drive if it impairs your judgment or motor skills. You can get a DUI from cough medicine. There is no empirical evidence that cannabis use is deadly. In cases used to argue otherwise, cannabis was used along with deadly overdose of heroin or other drugs proven to be deadly. A study done decades ago to prove that smoking marijuana did brain damage was laughed at by scientists. Monkeys were forced to inhale smoke with masks covering the nostrils and mouths. There were no air holes to allow fresh air into the lungs and no oxygen added. The damage was from smoke inhalation. The same thing occurs by inhaling burning wood. As a cancer survivor with Lynch Syndrome, where I can live in the states is limited to where medical cannabis is legal. I encourage everyone to educate themselves about the history of cannabis as well as the studies done worldwide about THC, CBD, and the endocannabinoid system before making a decision about where they stand on the issue. Endocannabinoid system: https://www.projectcbd.org/science/endocannabinoid-system/endocannabinoid-system Just a start.

Will you marijuana me?

Marijuana, as with most things, should be used in moderation if used at all. That is to say recreationally, using it for medicinal purposes however(cancer, chronic pain, etc) is a no-brainer. People want to smoke, why not? The type of people that smoke all the time and neglect their responsibilities are the type of people that will use any vice or excuse to do so. We need to stop blaming a drug with far too many beneficial properties and start holding people accountable for their actions as individuals.

I can’t stand people who are constantly high or drunk it’s not attractive. I don’t care how much you party. if you’re the one going out drinking and driving or getting high at the worst times then I have 0 respect and I hope karma hits hard. That stuff is overrated anyways. We all know snorting smarties dust is the best sensation.
