Or at least unsunset them? Or bring back menagerie with different rolls? Something? Please? I just really miss musing those guns. I know we're on to splicer stuff but hear me out. Make it a community effort. Have it be an end all be all thing. like a month long "With the help of mithrax, push caitil out of our system." Kind of deal. Make it so that we have to go to each planet and fight cabal and push them back and we have to reach a threshold amount of cabal defeated before they flee to the next planet. and once all planets are done caitil leaves so calus gives the guardians access to the menagerie once more with reprised weapons etc. And if you REALLY want to get fancy, you can have a final encounter where you can bring a fire team to face caitil +her generals in an area based one on one encounter system. Hey make it even better, where if everyone in the fireteam beats each general and caitil with ONLY swords. You can get an achievement that works towards a title called "Honorbound". Make the hardest achievement to solo all the generals + caitil. Now I know what you're thinking "How does mithrax have anything to do with that?" You can hide the beginning of it like how you did other exotic quests but this time make it an exotic quest that unlocks for everyone when one person figures it out. Imagine going through one of the expounge missions only to discover a rouge supplicant or something that will scan you while you're in the vex data world and instead of trying to blow up or kill you, it starts trying to lead you somewhere and if you follow it, it leads to a platform where it will explode leaving a volatile mote. Pick it up and manage to get it out of the mission without dropping it once and protect the motebearer and it gives an exotic community wide quest called "Another chance at Honor." You'd have pvp players coming for menagerie for beloved and austringer. You'd have pve players going for armor and any other weapons. This gives another route for players to obtain reprised forsaken weapons and armor without the worry of drop chances being messed up. If you REALLY wanted you could treat it like the prismatic recaster where the menagerie needs to be fed in order for it to "feed" the guardians. Have guardians have to win a set number of matches in gambit and crucible and complete a certain number of strikes to gain the ABILITY to chase directly after the weapons of their choosing. It's a win-win. You get the entire community active in an event that will directly alter how people play the game. Overworlds would be flooded with players trying to kill as many cabal as possible to get the mengerie unlocked. Your playlists, although not at popular would see an influx of traffic from people trying to get the ability to farm for weapons they enjoy most and all of this can be hinged on a single hidden quest. or you can just bring it back. I'm just giving ideas if you don't just want to bring calus back into the picture. I mean if you want to add mystery, put the new menagerie in a pyramid ship. People would go insane.
