Everybody knows the ONLY reason you are removing it is because people who used to play a lot got thousands and by removing them you are basically forcing them to play more, padding playtime. How about you put some effort into balancing the economy (by maybe not overpricing everything based on how much LS the top 5% of players have)? Destiny keeps losing bits of its identity, don't be surprised when many of the players who were sitting on thousands of the little purple gems just quit. [b]Instead of taking away, give back.[/b]

As someone with thousands of them, take them. It's not going to matter at all in the long run.

If too much change is starting to make people hesitant to play that's one thing but materials being piled up like that can apparently make other people hesitant too. But I have a great solution. Free shard atms placed all around the tower so the guardians who haven't been here as long and veterans alike can get free shards like they're turning on a faucet

I'm so glad I kept 20k of each planetary material. I knew Bungie was cringe when they said to turn them in. I've got 20m+ glimmer saved and turned in 60k Shards for Phantasmal Fragments. Worst devs and management in the world.
