Characters can only be deleted by loading up Destiny 1 or Destiny 2 and then performing a set number of instructions. If you did not do this, then you should [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360048721292-Account-Security-Guide]secure your platform accounts[/url] ASAP. You should also make sure to avoid [url=http://bungie.net/ban]malicious activities[/url] (EG: an account recovery for ToO). Deleted characters cannot be restored as per Bungie's policy. Account security is always your responsibility at all times. It looks like you let someone on your account to play ToO (you have recently played that) and that person then deleted your characters in a poor attempt to evade Bungie's ban detection. Players who let other players on to their accounts commonly have their characters deleted to hide the malicious games (doesn't work).
