Twist fate is not working
I used 3 glass needles on 3 tries with twist fate on my titans collectors edition class item and saw no difference is this also a luck of the draw thing or does it not do any thing for that item can someone tell me what's going on
Also is there a way to get someone from bungie to see this

I did the EXACT same thing (also did 3 glass needles!). I checked the Armory and there are no Random Rolls on the piece as far as what you get. It's always Int base with Str and Dis selectable and Always Auto and Shot. Twist of Fate needs to be removed from these items.

After giving up 3 strange coins, 3 motes of light and a hard to come by exotic shard, I got... Nothing. Tried the Twist Fate twice on the Skull of Dire Ahamkara. I was hoping to get the intellect perk instead of discipline or strength. Nothing changed on ANY of the perks. So I swapped out the helmet, thinking it wouldn't upgrade while equipped. Tried it again from inventory instead. More nothing. Not a single thing changed! Is there a point to Twist Fate? Or simply a black hole where you throw your hard earned resources? I agree - it would be great to get clarification from Bungie on this.

The only thing Twist Fate will definitely change is the cooldown stat. Everything else might be a locked in perk for the exotic. Chest pieces may be locked in to a certain weapon type or slot. Most of the arms I did changed the weapon getting the reload perk.

1 ReplyI've had this same experience. Was going to post a new thread, but searched and found yours. I have a Chest of the Umpa Lumpa that I've tried to change twice. Each time nothing has changed at all... not the intelligence/discipline/strength nor any of the perks. Was hoping to get additional sniper ammo (instead of pulse/fusion) on this Chest Piece.

Does not change the first aspect of the armor and or does not change the 2nd it 3rd either. And if it does usually only picks between one our a 2nd perk. Well not change nothing for titans no back up plan. Essentially is a waste of coins you could use for something better. Thanks for another useless tool. Trial and error
