Iron Banner sucks
WTH Bungie!? I am so angry right now. I was in the iron banner event and some guy who was several levels lower than me actually did damage to me! What is the he point of grinding for all this legendary gear if people can still hurt my character???
I should be able to wade through a group of level 16s and have their bullets just bounce off me like RoboCop. I should be like the Terminator when he's going through the police station to kill Sarah Connor.
And all of my level 28 bullets should be hitting these guys so hard that they explode. Each round from my Red Death needs to have the force of a thousand gorillas behind it. And my melee attacks should be on par with getting punched in your magical death spots by Kenshiro in Fist Of The North Star.
Nobody should enjoy this game but me because I bought it and my $60 investment should dictate the decisions of a multi million dollar company trying to improve the experience of the game for an entire player base. But my $60 makes me special snowflake and I demand that you cater to my needs.

8 RepliesDestiny is just a really bad game. It's garbage. I don't suck at cruicible, I also dont use suros, I use monte carlo. It doesnt matter what gear you got, it doesnt matter what level you are, basically this game is a huge waste of time and money, and in my opinion its just a suck hole meant for activision to get the last laugh considering all their games are crap. Like who the hell wants to waste all their time getting their gear, then spending that time to upgrade all their gear, then replace and upgrade raid gear and exotics, then to get to level 30 and only have 1 thing to do a week. Really there are a ton of mmos or just multiplayer games that are way better...like any mmo or multiplayer game not called destiny. If you like it thats on you have fun lol, i will not waste my life with this piece of trash any longer though. if you agree please like so we can show them how shite of a game theyve created and duped many into playing.

2 RepliesThe thing about Iron Banner is that it's LEVEL that matters. So players that are only good at the game are only going to be the ones that win. In short, Iron Banner is a horribly failed experiment. I like to think of it as this: [b]Communism is the Crucible.[/b] Everyone has the chance to win as long as they try. [b]Capitalism is Iron Banner.[/b] Those who are already won get to win again. Don't try Iron Banner if you're looking at it for an opportunity to get good gear. You'll just get turned around and f-cked in the ass.

Been more like Iron camper from what I've seen, makes me miss Gotham city imposters, i really hate this game mode, but It's the only way other than the vault to get the higher up gear, and I'm tired of doing the Vault, shards, shards,shards waste of time

I used the rifle you begin the game with on my lvl 27 titan and was still putting damage on lvl 20+ guys. Ain't that messed up.

3 RepliesIn a less satirical note, the level advantages do work a little. At level 22, I actually CAN'T kill a level 29 with a single shotgun blast.

I hate that I've played 30 matches and only came away with one shader, one mote, one strange coin, and some useless blues. I'm quitting Iron Banner once I hit rank 2 and max crucible marks for the week.

These # threads are stale; it's not clever, funny, or insightful. Stop making them. The fact is that iron banner is exactly like control, except you will literally never finish a game becuase the losing team gets no exp.

3 RepliesIron Banner is not for everyone. Same as raids. Level gear should mean somthing, otherwise it just becomes regular crusicble. I shake my head when I see a lv 8 running around on Iron Banner. Cause of the reason he's in. He knows he's gonna die alot, but he's hoping his ass gets carried for a WIN so that he can get the Iron banner reputation. and when things don't look good he's the first to bounce and abandon his team. Not everyone does that, but too many just pure PVE players riding hard on other players in this event to say it's not happening.

Although we all know this is a satire (apart from those oh so smarticles in the comments), there are still legitimate concerns over iron banner. "Level advantages" are supposed to mean something.
