Playing my own devils advocate, the Matrix as reality

Two things first. I'm typing this on my phone so excuse typos, and I am an athiest. More importantly I'm an atheist because I'm a skeptic. I do not believe in anything supernatural. That said, I will now try to reason that the supernatural not only exists, but would be a necessity given a certain premise. Premise: That we live in a simulated universe. Not a real one. Watch video for premise. Now. If this is true then we would be merely a simulation. Played out from a computer. This simulation could have started anywhere, and in any time line. It could even be running multiple instances of the simulation in separate time lines at the same time. This makes it easy to ration that when people observe the supernatural they are observing one of several possibilities. 1. That if seeing a ghost for example you are actually seeing content not completely wiped from the exact same spot on the memory device that you now currently inhabit. Sort of like a double exposure on old camera film. Or 2. That a glitch has occurred in the system, and two separate instances of the simulation are currently interfering with one another. Temporarily causing them to effect each others "realities" I'm sure endless possibilities could be raised, but these are the two that immediately made the most sense to me. In real life I have heard an audio recording of a civil war battle. You'd be amazed what several hundred single shot rifles sound like when being fired at will. And no, I'm not making this part up. I can point you to the guy with the recording. Recorded in the middle of the night at an old battle ground here in North Carolina. Even having heard this recording I still do not believe in the supernatural. I only lack the ability to explain it naturally at the present time. Simulation theory is a definite possible explanation. Simple as a small bit of data clinging onto a piece of a hard drive. So, my fellow skeptics out there. Rip this apart. Or, play devils advocate yourself. Edit: addendum... Also entirely possible that a future computer could run an entire time line in an instant. So like the proton test from the video, we would exist as a "conscience" observation of our present reality in a simulation that has all possible realities as a probability wave. Meaning we only need partially observe any other probability to observe something "supernatural".
