So I've seen a lot of anger directed towards Fallout 4. And not just people saying there are some problems with it but saying stuff saying it's just a call of duty game (which is ridiculous. any unbiased person who played any cod game and fallout 4 would see they are massively different in nearly everyway).
I'll admit that it has its issues and many of them, but come on people! If you hated Fallout 4 you don't know how to play a game and enjoy it properly. Ive had plenty of fun out of games were way more flawed than Fallout 4. Can't we just criticize it without condemning it?
If any body wants we can chat about the game and future installments.

The graphics is garbage and has extremely poor colour design. They literally just let the modding community to do all their work while raking the money in.

I just hated fallout in general.

Editado por God of Clyde: 1/30/2017 3:47:46 PMHere is my issue, and it seems like it has been happening to all games across the board, or atleast the triple A games. They are being made for the casual gamer. Weapon durability is too much to think about for some people, and that is okay, but to remove it entirely from a game series that incorporated it heavily, that is just disrespectful to us the gamers. It also has no depth to it. Sure there is a massive amount of content, but it doesn't really matter. It is just shoot stuff in a building or in a tunnel or in a vault. There is no leasrning curve, or atleast not a big one, and it just gets boring after a while. Plus with no level cap, that means there is no reason to play through it again. That is all it is now. Plus the fact that it simply does not put roleplaying aspects first, it puts the shooter aspects first.

Editado por Psyntifik: 1/29/2017 2:14:47 PMThe quests were tedious. The story was unoriginal and boring. Everything ended in a gunfight. The characters were pretty meh. The world was pretty bland. The dialogue was horrendous. The skill system had been tragically watered down. Nope, I really can't enjoy that game, and I consider it far from "great". This game gets compared to CoD in the same way Bioshock does. Outside of settlements, I can't go 20 paces without having to shoot something. Regardless of the rest of the game, you're still going from street to street gunning people down in first person. I mean shit, remember the quest to go and kill Kellogg? Are you honestly going to tell me that that doesn't even slightly resemble a CoD mission?

My biggest problem is there not being enough interesting quest and too many radiant quest. I still love the game. Probably my favorite of 2015
-
It's my favorite game of 2015 in my favorite series of all time but even I admit some things about it were handled pretty poorly compared to Skyrim and FO3 (for those who are saying right now "why didn't you list new vegas that's newer than fo3" new vegas wasn't developed by BGS) . It's more a shooter than an RPG with there being no real way to be an evil character and the dialogue system being completely butchered compared to their previous games. IMO they should've made one big workshop DLC instead of three. Despite all this I've spent over 800 hours of my life on one save file that I've had since launch so it's clearly still a good game to me.

Editado por CheshireGrin92: 1/31/2017 9:38:38 AMI very much enjoyed fallout 4 and still do no game is perfect.

My son absolutely loves fallout 4. In fact we did share play so he can show me his settlements and he showed me some gameplay. It was fun looking at his stuff. I'm not hating on the game, but That game is not my thing. I'm more of a loot shooter kinda guy. Love fast pace shooters or hack and slashers. (Diablo, Borderlands, warframe, Destiny kind of games)

Its like the people who say Overwatch is just like TF2

The game itself wasn't that bad it had many issues like how they overdid settlements, and the missions we all the same, go here shoot ppl without real purpose leave, and the story was......let's just say it could've been better, and it wasn't even a rpg, it was just a fps, and many more issues But overall fallout 4 wasn't that bad, but it sucked really bad if u compare it to the first 2 games or new vegas, and really even to 3

Fallout 4 has a decent fun story. But when compared to other fallout games it falls very short. The lack of karma is pretty shit. However... Two things that make fallout 4 AMAZING and even better then 3, new Vegas or even Skyrim for me is 1. The gameplay. Fallout 4's combat and just everything like that is just SOOO MUCH BETTER them 3 or NV. It's like comparing Oblivion to Skyrim's combat. It Just feels much better. 2. Settlements... I know some may not enjoy this. But for me it's one of the best things in the game. Especially with mods. Being able to make towns, or even cities and put your mark in the world of fallout... Its just so cool. Plus tbh I enjoyed the dlc in fallout 4 more then nay of the past 3 or NV dlc

there was one glitch I found that forced me to go back a couple of saves. There's some guy from the first railroad mission, I don't remember his name, but he's essential, so he can't die. Well on one of my saves I dealt with the railroad pretty early on myself, by killing them all. So this guy didn't die, and was mad at me. About an hour later, I was building a big, heavily fortified base at the castle, and he showed up and kept trying to kill me but I couldn't get rid of him. So I had to go back, do the first railroad mission, send him to his death in that mission, then kill everyone. Partially my fault, but there also shouldn't be essential characters if you're enemies with that Faction.

Personally, the game wasn't for me. I'm not saying it's a bad game, I just didn't like it.
-
My only problem is the glitches that I've been experiencing. One forced me to delete and reinstall it.
-
I absolutely loved fallout 4, the others were ok
-
Yea most people cannot not like a game without saying it's the worst thing and it's trash
-
Where do you all think the next fallout is gonna be???
-
My latest character is named John wick, looks like Keanu, and first thing I did was get a clean blue suit and the deliverer. Game over

Editado por shell: 1/29/2017 10:37:36 PMI personally never understood the complaints about FNV's gameplay. It wasn't great, but neither is Fallout 4's. Gameplay isn't why I dislike Fallout 4, though. I dislike it because of how poorly the characters are written. I don't feel any urge to help many of them. I didn't feel connected to any of the characters, spare 3 or 4 companions. It's especially amplified in Survival. I don't want to waste my food and water traveling to avenge someone I don't like, and I can't quicksave to swindle them to at least get payed well. The weapon crafting is great, altough the settlements always felt useless. I only ever built in two of them, and I almost always half assed my buildings because it felt pointless to decorate them when I'm just going to be going to my crafting stations. I couldn't care less if my nameless and unlikable settlers are comfortable, and I can just install a mod if I want a house 20 times better than what's even possible for me to make.

I love all the Fallout games. It's the way it is with any title that becomes a series. Certain things are dropped and certain things are added between titles. Personally NV is easily my favorite Fallout game, but it has far more issues than 4. As a matter of fact, 3 and NV were only acceptable as RPGs because of their intensive stories. People will whine about the lack of a faction system but the system in NV was both pointless and broken. At times it would be easy to garner trust from the various factions of the game, at times it was wholly impossible and thus a lot of content becomes barred. Also, the crafting systems in 3 and NV were shit. Few items in 3, an almost completely random feel to it. Almost like they threw it in last minute! NV was a bit better what with weapon attachments but they were a pain to find in shops. You'd have to wait weeks on end just to have the chance to get a single weapon mod.. Last bit? In 3 and NV each, a DLC made the item deterioration aspect (which was a slight pain without jury rigging perk from NV) pointless. Provided us with items that could fix broken weapons completely. 4 had gameplay mechanics for days, you could say that it brushed up on many things that were left in the dust in previous titles.. mostly crafting. I believe they shouldn't have spent as much time on crafting as they did though. Story is always more important in an RPG, imo.

It's not a bad game, but Fallout 3 and New Vegas were better games.

I enjoyed Fallout 4 when it released. Never finished the story and can't be bothered to finish it now. I've got a bunch of dislikes. Still a load screen when entering a building. Not every building being enter-able, and I mean c'mon, there hardly are any. The city didn't feel like a big city. More like a small town. Shadows appearing as you walk forward.. There is a lot I like and lots of things I despise. I can only hope Bethesda includes my wishes in their next installments. I really hope they don't hold back on the next TES. I really want that to look graphically beautiful as well. Yes, I am a graphics whore.
-
I love Fallout 4, but I can understand people's dislike of it when compared to previous fallouts. However I think it's become cool to hate on the game to ridiculous measures. With people saying everything about it is trash etc. Which is completely untrue. If you think everything about Fallout 4 is garbage, you must not have played many good games in your day

OP if you put a space after a period it won't make it look like there's links throughout your post. <- Like this one.
