I have been playing the trial for Destiny 2. I like it but... I realize that I am new and so I haven't experienced the content drought. I've seen content droughts in games I've bought before which makes me weary about buying any more games that likely have a content issue. The main issue is, I wish this game was legit. There's great things about it, but I just can't invest in a game that you buy and then has micro-transactions on a scale similar to a free to play game. What keeps me from buying Destiny 2 is the concern I and my friends have about the paywall. From what I hear, there isn't much of an end-game design due to a very low chance at good rewards in an effort to incentivize buying them with real money. I realize games need to make money, and some of my favorite games are free to play with lots of micro-transactions. It's just fishy that a game is buy to play with a free to play model.
