Bungie, please give us back our movement abilities

Destiny 1, although a little rage inducing in nature, was absolutely fun, largely in credit to the movement abilities of all the different classes. Titans dominated the linear plane due to titan skating, hunters could dodge several times in quick succession, and warlocks were, well, warlocks; they didn't really need anything more than blink because they were so powerful. These movement abilities made it harder to hit Guardians, and, on the opposite end of the spectrum, made the gameplay faster, which, in all honesty, was highly entertaining. In Destiny 2, however, these movement abilities have been nerfed into the ground. Titan skating is completely gone, and the cooldown on Hunter dodges is now more or less 20 seconds, whereas before, a Hunter could shadestep twice in a row without having to wait any time at all. As a result, I've found that Warlocks alone now dominate the PvP movement arena with blink, as this jump ability can be used to travel either vertically or horizontally in the blink of an eye. Other classes plainly and simply cannot keep up with teleporting Voidwalkers. I am not in any way suggesting that Blink be nerfed, though, because even blink isn't what it could be; if used too many times in rapid succession, it remains unusable for an uncomfortable amount of time if the Warlock is one-shot and desperately trying to outrun another Guardian with rockets. The rocket issue is the apotheosis of movement faults. Because Guardians can no longer move as quickly, we cannot escape certain power weapons in many scenarios. The whole "Remove energy weapons in favor of re-adding special weapons" is another topic I am ardently in favor for, but I will not go into that issue here. In short, however, especially on console, players will always choose rockets or grenade launchers in favor of snipers and shotguns, because of the sheer ease of use, which means that explosive, AOE weapons become the leading power weapons in PvP, and thus appear more often in encounters. Bungie, when you eliminated our ability to move quickly (and move quickly OFTEN), you put us at a major disadvantage in gunfights against rocket users, so there are more engagements that we simply cannot win, or escape from, because we are unable to move. For these reasons and more, I ask you to please make just two edits to Destiny 2 in the next expansion, or in an update, as long as it is soon: 1. Make Titan Skating possible again. Even if it is a tiny bit slower, Titan mains would genuinely appreciate gaining horizontal movement domination again. 2. Reduce the shadestep cooldown to what it was in the first game. The one trait that makes Hunters what they should be- Agile, quick, unpredictable- we can now only use a few times per game, so we have to save it for when we think we'll really need it, which, in turn, results in Hunters using their ability far less often. If you want to keep the game more balanced than the first Destiny, then I have a few suggestions: -If you make the shadestep cooldown what it was in D1, you could nerf marksman's dodge to only restore half, or even a quarter, of the equipped magazine. -Under the same circumstance (concerning cooldown), reduce the range of the Gambler's dodge melee recharge effect to within a meter of an enemy -As mentioned before, add Titan skating back in the game, but slow it down to maybe 3/4 of its maximum speed in D1 Anyone who made it to the end, thank you for your time, and please upvote this topic if you would also like to see movement abilities return to how they used to be. -Animus
Moderator edit: This thread has been moved to #Feedback forum so that other Destiny players can weigh in.  See Cozmo's thread here for more information about the #Feedback tag and its uses.
