I had a thought today, How many people here agree of the possibility that Eris Morn is Savathuns daughter also the possibility she has a dark evil behavior and is part of the Hive?
-
100% not possible.
-
Read the lore, she's not her daughter
-
I dunno why they reject this idea that much :D It is possible Since we know that she can change herself to human form but thats not the case as posted before the events of Hellmouth Made her who she is today. But i would not be suprised if she turn of to be compromised we know her parallel future.
-
Um.... no.
-
Were you drunk when you wrote this?
-
Eris Morn got 3 eyes so she could go into hellsmouth and the hive would see her as one of their own.. Eris Morn is human still though
-
Hmmm, appears this person is having a stroke...
-
I’d recommend you should Watch/read some eris lore before saying something like that. Lore guys are gonna flame on this post

Editado por WizardWolf: 12/30/2021 11:59:49 PMEris is a human, and I remember somewhere saying she drowned swimming before the collapse? Doubt she was an undercover hive agent in the Golden age. Not to mention she hates the hive, and wants the whole "royal" family dead.
-
Imagine invading a consciousness, rewiring it to suit your consciousness when you need it...she could potentially be many, and many could be leading us down a path.
-
No, just no. There is nothing that suggests this possibility and would be extremely stupid in general.
-
There is no lore that even remotely relates to this, so no.
-
Excuse me, what the -blam!-? What evidence is there to support this? I’m not even mad, just amused.
-
As powerful and cunning as Savathûn is, idk if she has the ability to birth a human. Something about basic genetics makes that pretty unlikely

Editado por G4LL0WGL455: 12/27/2021 9:30:41 PMI agree. She could well be the leader of Savathun’s forces in Witch Queen. I would speculate that she has something to do with the death of Ikora and the the severe maiming of Zavala. Read the Dark Future Lore .

Nope , Eris hates the Hive , she watched her friends get ripped to shreds by them and is tortured everyday by her past , her goal is to eradicate every Hive in existence, and if she can't do it herself ,she will get us to do it I hope Eris's story ends with her finding peace , I have sympathized with her since Dark Below , her scars made people stigmatize and fear her, others made jokes ,but I could feel her pain ,her VA is truly talented, has Crota crumbled into nothing I smiled knowing I brought her the Vengeance she was so desperately seeking, has I watched Oryx's body float torward Saturn ,I knew that I gave her some respite from her pain,I hated to see her tortured by nightmares in shadow keep, has Bungie fleshed out her past so much more and drove her pain home There is has much chance of Eris being hive has Lakshmi-2 being half Eliksni

Editado por TheArtist: 12/27/2021 1:06:00 PMHighly, highly unlikely. There is quite a bit of lore to suggest that she was formerly an Awoken Hunter of Zavala's generation of Guardians. She always refers to Mara as "My Queen". She was part of the tragic group of Guardians who made the first raid attempt to destroy Crota after the disastrous defeat when Guardians tried to take the Moon back from the Hive. She was the only one from that fireteam to survive the attempt. She is the way she is because she lost her ghost to the light-draining abilities of the Ascendant Hive, and the lore suggests that she survived because she had Ahamkara bone in her possession, and it granted a wish based on her desire to live. But since Ahamakara wishes never turn out exactly the way the that wisher plans it to, she survived by took on many of the characteristics OF the Hive. So she is essentially a Hive Wizard/Awoken "hybrid" that is in service to the Light....walks a fine line between service to the Vanguard and to Queen Mara. If you played the Shadowkeep campaign, you can see that the Nightmares used her survivors guilt over the failed raid to torment her. The "weight" of it was so heavy that she was at times bent over from the weight of their tormenting her. One of the bad--blam!- moments of the campaign is that moment when the Nightmares of all 5 of her former raid team members are screaming messages of guilt and shame at her.....and she turns on them and tells them all to SHUT THE HELL UP. ...and they do it. Brought a big smile this this Guardian's face when she did it.

Would be cool, but there are a lot of holes. For starters the pyramids let her in but not the hive. Toland acknowledges her and she acknowledges him. She also recognized Omar when building xeno.
-
Highly doubt she’s Savathûn’s daughter or that she’s currently not on our side. If she were left alone with her new stasis power rather than be trained by Elsie then maybe. She could turn in the near future but I honestly hope not. I hope someone completely unexpected will get corrupted and Eris will try to turn them back because she knows what it’s like to be tempted.

Hive Queen Human Male..... 🤔🤨😳🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Eris is an unusual case because she has all the makings of a villain and if there's going to be a whole "hero-to-villain" swap trope used in Destiny, she's the most likely candidate. People use the events of the Dark Future to justify her inevitable fall, but that whole book only paints the picture following extremely specific circumstances that involve corruption from both Savathun herself and the Black Heart that wasn't destroyed in this timeline. Eris has spent substantial amounts of time amongst the Darkness and Hive both within the Hellmouth on Luna and the Pyramid occupied locations within the past year; but she's always held this sentiment of keeping her humanity intact. When she was dealing with the Phantasms of her lost fireteam, she resulted to maintaining the memories of the good times she had with them to dispel the Phantasms, and wrote letters about them addressing both Ikora and Queen Mara Sov as a way of documenting her thoughts and likely extending to a level of clearing her head (although that's not confirmed). She also did similar things during Season of Arrivals and Beyond Light regarding the messages from the Pyramid and regarding Stasis. She also kept close contact with her allies. During our attacks on Crota and the Taken War, she had the Vanguard to keep her grounded, as well as her alliance and loyalty to Mara Sov who considers her a trusted confidant. She also had Asher Mir who she wrote letters to before she re-emerged during Shadowkeep. Ikora was in close contact with her as well during this time, and with the arrival of the Pyramids, Drifter and Zavala kept her in close ties (as well as her continued support from Asher Mir and Ikora Rey). Obviously she now has ever closer ties to the colloquially named "Vandark" of whom aided her in utilising Stasis (even if she didn't learn it from them). We also know she's going to appear in The Witch Queen expansion based on the recent trailer alongside Ikora, a character who Eris has implied will keep her in a comfortable mindset. Point is, for all her exposure to the Darkness and with all her potential to fall to the Darkness and become an enemy, she's always had one foot on the side of Light. She walks the ever controversial "Grey Line" that Shin Malphur practises and even promotes, alongside her Vandark allies and even us. It will take a lot for her to fall to Darkness and become the enemy she rose to be in the Dark Future.

We honestly don't know what can happen with Savathun in play. Technically anyone, including our guardian, can be manipulated by her song alone. If she has plans for us? Then we are the ones who will need to deal with the complications later on during Witch Queen.
-
Eris has done nothing to suggest she's under Savathun's control, much less being her daughter somehow. Season of Arrivals straight up disproves it because she actively worked against Savathun to relay messages from the Pyramids.
-
But she isnt….
-
Eris was a guardian part of the canonical raid team for crota, her lore entries give a rundown of what she saw and felt during the pits of the hive But rest assured she is still quite human, unfortunately, ghostless now but still very much alive
-
Absolutely not
