Most auto rifles suck in PvP
The changes to the sandbox have effectively neutered most of the auto rifles for PvP. Precision frames have been destroyed. The higher impact variety sits in the same spot. Adaptives only work if it's Summoner and even then it's very situational. Quicksilver seems to be the only viable 720.
So what happened to wanting more weapon variety?

What skill bracket are you? What's your Comp Rank? Autos are usually effective in the low end PVP brackets, because most good players use cover. Autos excel at winning in fights when in open space, but they struggle to win gunfights against players who headglitch or play around cover. However, Autos remain a top choice in low-end PVP brackets due to their fast TTK and forgiveness. Also, you're more likely to catch players in the open in low-end PVP lobbies.
