I don’t understand Bungie—are we not supposed to enjoy a diverse set of weapons, classes and subtypes. You’re an absolute loser if you don’t play prismatic apparently. Things like young ahamkara are centered around tripmines and I’m lucky to get two in a round. How the heck is it fair clone after clone after clone, smoke everywhere, swarm grenades everywhere. I don’t want to do what everyone else is doing to win because I actually like to be challenged and have fun. I just finished a match of collision where the other team just put a smoke grenade on every capture point and there was nowhere for me to get a proper vantage point with the field just bogged down with every piece of radar jamming and disorientating thing the game could offer on a single build with three people using it at the same time. Why couldn’t you just make prismatic builds variable throughout each season so people don’t have to deal with the same meta time after time. I love this game but I’m playing less and less because the meta is always ridiculous. People are throwing things around haphazardly, fishing for kills and it’s constant. Regular builds you throw a grenade and don’t kill someone you gotta wait a considerable time (save for mods and stats) to get it back and then rely on gunplay. You have prismatic hunters spamming their stuff all over the place and you’re esssntjally left with just your gun that’s almost useless because you start killing them, they dodge up a clone and get away or hide behind it or you’re too close and it explodes and ends your gun fight. If it happened once in a while, fine, my bad, but all the freaking time is ludicrous.
