Cross Save Issue After Account Hack
Hello,
I am a huge fan of Destiny and its universe, but my account is currently compromised due to Cross Save. My Steam account was hacked, and although I managed to recover it, the person who hacked me linked their own account to my Cross Save on Bungie.
I submitted a ticket to Bungie, but it was rejected with the response:
"Due to mandatory security policy, Bungie is not able to remove connected platform accounts from Bungie.net profiles under any circumstances."
Now, I am unable to unlink it, and this person is playing on my account without me being able to do anything about it.
I am really desperate. I just want my problem to be resolved so I can play again normally. Please help me.

8 RespostasHi there. You will need to contact Steam Support or whichever platform the other person's account is from for assistance. If they are unable to help, then unfortunately that person would continue to have access to your characters. Bungie does not have control over platform accounts or store login information and therefor players are required to authenticate accounts via their platform logins to make any changes. Players are responsible for their own account security and as the response you received mentioned, under no circumstances will Bungie forcefully remove or unlink an account for security reasons.
