If you are an American citizen and/or follow the story of the NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, you need to read this. This article is just purely ominous to me. The last bit of advice that Lavabit offered is chilling. I am actually scared for my personal freedoms and for my future. This has gotten so out of hand and I fear that nothing is going to change. tl;dr Edward Snowden allegedly used an email service known as "Lavabit". The CEO just shut down the company, and can't even say why. He can only say that he did it to prevent crimes against the American people. Please thoroughly read the article and share your thoughts.
