I made a post awhile back about wanting to preserve the physical ghost that was shipped with the ghost edition of Destiny.
It obviously has some sort of battery in it, I would like to remove the battery so it doesn't explode and cause internal damage to the connections over the years.
How would I go about doing this? I would like to preserve the ghost for many years to come, but don't want it to be damaged over time due to the battery.

I'm keeping it packed away in the box, turned off. Apparently you don't know what a battery exploding means. It means due to several factors taking place, the battery acid leaks out of the battery.

Hello guardian, I am sorry to say that i could not find any videos about this subject but i recommend keeping it turned of and away from wet items as the water may damage the battery. I would not be worried about it exploding but if it does catch on fire "Reports from the Fire Prevention Research Institute and the FAA indicate that lithium ion battery fires do not require a Class D extinguisher—water works effectively to extinguish the flames and cool the cells to prevent further thermal runaway "
