What keeps you motivated? I am in a real crappy end of semester situation now and now for some reason I thought I would post why because working all day has been giving me little progress. I have a presentation on Monday and the topic is Nietzsche's Eternal Recurrence, which is supposed to serve as a prequel to my actual 20 page+ essay on Eternal Recurrence. I am having a hard time motivating myself to read all these sources and I find myself leaving the laptop and laying down more often than I should be. I am a horrible speaker in presentations. I stutter easily, and I am just generally very nervous and this will be my first 15 min + presentation. Luckily, I am not standing up, but having so many faces across the table staring at you is just as intimidating. I am slowly going insane from all this work. I found sources, wrote about them, but now I am a bit void of thought and I feel like I am being disorganised.
I'm in a bad situation right now: Presentation Monday (15 mins) Essay draft (April 1st) and I barely started working on it, another essay on Nietzsche's other book for April 2nd, a report for the 31st, and another presentation and essay due in the middle of April. I am worried I will not have time to do everything because of stress.
So, offtopic, what would you people do in this situation without going insane? I am a smart student but even I can use some tips! After this final stretch will be finals week ;_;

Изменено (Jaaake AU): 3/28/2015 7:58:38 AMI'm horrible at speaking in presentations too. Absolutely hate it. Worst thing ever ;_; And when it comes to uni work... I'm very... Methodical. I guess? I plan out things I need to do and break it all down into small segments. My advice would be to never focus on the mountain of work that needs to be done. Just the small manageable 'segments'. Seems like an obvious thing but it really helps you from feeling overwhelmed
also I never JUST do essays and whatnot. I'm usually watching movies or browsing forums or whatever in the background. Sure things take a bit longerrrrr but I can work like that for hours and hours
