What state should I explore
So yeah, I've been thinkin about saving up money and just exploring part of the country. California, Texas, and Maine, as well as the Great Lakes region as a whole, look pretty appealing as far as I'm concerned. I'm just curious as to what y'all have to say on the topic >.> If you think my ideas suck, recommend another state, or hell even recommend another country. Convince me.
Edit: I'm native to the Pacific Northwest, so Washington, Oregon and all them are basically my backyard and not terribly appealing to explore.

1 ответI still find Washington and Oregon massively appealing to explore and I've lived in the Pacific NW for about 30 years. But if you're not considering being a tourist in your own backyard then Cali is pretty big and diverse. And I did enjoy Austin, TX when I went last year.

New York. It's extremely diverse. You can see major differences in places like Long Island, Manhattan and then Upstate is a whole different world. Long Island is similar to places like Pennsylvania and Connecticut while the city is pretty unique but definitely interesting to say the least. Upstate is more like the south the farther you head up lol

Georgia is a pretty diverse state. Mountains to the north, flatlands and beach to the southeast. No desert, and rolling hills in between.

I'd say Great Lakes, it's a pretty diverse area in terms of culture on each lake. I'd say it's ok to skip Erie though. Unless you like dead fish smells.
