Faction wars - New crucible special event!
So I have been thinking about this idea of an event for a long time, that a faction war between the three different faction would be the most awesome thing that could happen to destiny.
And it would make a ton lot of sense since we have these three big factions that allways has this tension between them, so why not make a special monthly event or even one in every 2 or 3 months out of this thing.
Everybody would dress up in their respective factions cloths and guns and fight, at the and of the event you get to see wich faction that won. :)
I think this would be fantastic to see in destiny and I really hope bungie would to this so upwote this if you like the idea and maybe we will se it! ;D

I luv the idea but it's not fair because the teams are uneven and a lot of people are in FWC because of the great heavy weapons personally I am in dead orbit though totally wish they had a complete video story about each of the factions to see more into each of their worlds and to see why they hate each other so much

Well then id go back to FWC so I can wear my sexy FWC cloak unfortunately you can't wear it with other factions

At the win of matches you have a chance to win some faction gear. It would make people more motivated to play.

Really? Thought that up yourself, did you? Thing is, that was one of the things originally intended to be in game. Instead of "I just had a cool idea" it should have been "bungie, wtf is this faction war you promised pre release?" You did not come up with it on your own. Your probably drawing from your subconscious memory something you were sold on and have forgot about, but now yearn for Mystery solved

Crucible was originally called "faction wars." Since there were supposed to be 5 factions in the game originally (the 3 we know, plus the seven seraphs and the cult of osiris), the base idea was fighting for your faction. Obviously this idea was scrapped pre-alpha/pre-reboot and now we have the crucible. I like the idea of fighting for a faction in the crucible (halo reach had "rocket hog" with 6 different teams of 2 at one point, so bungie has shown previously that they liked the idea of a lot of teams battling it out), but I doubt they'll do that again anytime soon. Maybe if they ever implement space combat in destiny 2 or destiny 3, we'll get to see a version of ship wars with a bunch of teams, but until they add more of the factions into the game/lore, it'll kinda be a bit weak with just 3 factions fighting. At least with 5 factions, they can say it's friendly combat to see who's the best, and there could be variations to the game modes, but with just the 3 factions, they can only do so much (one match is a 6v6 of dead orbit vs new monarchy, the next could be 4v4v4, but it gets little variation.... throw 5 factions in the mix and the possibility of tournaments and all different sorts of match variations could be thought up). I'd like to see something of a faction war, but it won't happen in destiny 1 or anytime soon (they have mostly all of destiny 2 decided on already, they're just still building the content... maybe a late DLC in destiny 2? But I doubt it cause they don't wanna fall behind with content creation like they did the first 2 years of the game, so maybe when new ideas are implemented in D3).

Should be like iron banner. Just for a week. You team has to be all the same faction. Matchmaking should accommodate for this for those that don't or can't find a full roster of friends. End of week should reward based on faction standing. Aside from the usual crucible bounties. Kill x # of enemy faction guardians. Etc
