I’m not disputing any of this and I agree they should be removed, but this has helped ease the pain:
3 from daily bounties 1 from weekly (the one that isn’t the three activity one, which is usually easy), 3 from spider = 6 per day x 7 + 1.
That’s 43 per week from incredibly easy sources, on one character. With just that you can masterwork two weapons per week (I don’t masterwork armor so that’s not really something I worry about), and have cores left over.
It’s not making an excuse for this system but at least it takes the edge off a little bit. And if you’re really worried about players being turned off by anything, there are so many other little pains that will drive players crazy after the initial buzz wears off. It’s a death of a thousand cuts with Destiny.

Изменено (reenry): 6/23/2019 4:22:35 AMThats a terrible excuse for anything. Lets use a M-F work schedule, also for school kids for example. You work day shift. You have weekends off, time to hang back and play Destiny? Family? Still not a excuse but you should prioritize family over a game of course. Regardless of a few power misses you still have weekly stuff which can at most reward 3-5 power. Over 10+ ways to get that weekly power jump. On top of that Menagerie lets you pick and choose gear piece that is holding you back. On top of everything else you arent missing Xūr. A lot of people are raiders too so thats a nice power jump. You can also throw in a hour or two in the night for bonus points. Otherwise YOU ARE NOT MISSING ANYTHING. There are Dads in there 40s who still play this game as much as the next guy. Good for you that you have a life, but just because people say that this game is a chore doesnt mean it is. You can play it casually and still miss nothing. I also have marching band 5-9 every week M-T and about to go from 1-9 schedule whole week coming up. I have no time for games or my girl, but I adjust and make time. Its something you. If you can’t get what you want you need to acknowledge that you can’t get it and sucks to suck. Bungie is not there to cater for your needs. Bungie are the developers, you are the player. Play. The. Game.

Facts are not excuses. You needing something to validate things in a game so you can feel pride is an excuse.
-
And you are terrible at comprehending things you read that is of course if you read the post properly. He mentioned running 3 characters to get whatever amount of cores, so you main idea of catering is way off. Are you telling me bungie design the game to have 3characters to be able to keep up? or one character you preferred and make the best out for of?
-
You can maintain cores easily with one character.
-
Is that why you have no maxed level character yet?
-
I have no maxed characters because I havent played enough to get to max lol. Ive been busy my boi. And Im switching back to console to prep for shadowkeep switch

Изменено (Corrick II): 6/23/2019 4:10:46 AMI’m literally trying to explain a way that’s easier and doesn’t take away from your lives and priorities. But that’s cool. Do it, don’t do it, I honestly don’t care.

It’s a ton of grinding to get them all across 3 characters. Sure, hardcore players can do it. But it leeches the fun out of playing if you have to load in, get the daily bounties, go run them, swap characters to rinse and repeat, then log back into the original character you wanted to spend time playing on today. It’s not fukin fun at all.
-
Do only hardcore players kill some fallen with solar for free cores? That’s delusional. Hardcore players don’t need this many cores. At the moment, you can acquire a surplus of cores just by picking up gunsmith bounties and completing them passively while you play. It isn’t hard.
-
I’m a -blam!-in hardcore player. I don’t have a goddamn surplus of cores. When I log in daily, I like to log into a character and play it through all my available weekly content, including raids, Gambit, Crucible, planetary power drops, etc. Then switch characters, which involves swapping weapons around, and starting again. Depending on play time, that’s 2 days per character. Logging into each one daily just to grind your enhancement cores is not a fun thing to do. Would have been better for every 3rd strike/PvP match/gambit match/etc award enhancement cores. Play as much as you want, keep getting cores for actually completing activities. Or - just remove the damn things from the game altogether.

The daily bounties can be done just playing the game. You don’t have to focus on them. It’s not perfect but it’s something.
